An Australia where Indigenous women have the confidence to define and achieve their own success.

To provide a platform for Indigenous women to connect, learn, share and lead. To build a community whose members are grounded in culture, passionate about growth, and confident in pursuing their defined success.

Culture – we will celebrate our culture in all aspects of Indigenous Women in Business.

Community – we will be dedicated to supporting our communities across Australia through our members.

Success – as our members define their success we will endeavor to provide information, resources and support to equip them in reaching their goals.

Indigenous women are one of the most marginalized groups in the world with limited access to services and support. Yet it is common that Indigenous women have strong and important leadership roles in Indigenous communities and community organisations. Imagine what they could achieve with the right connections, tools and support network.

Having personally experienced some of these limitations as Indigenous women, Jen and Bec realized there was a need for a National support network for Indigenous women in Australia.

IWIB was formed in 2014 and exists to equip and empower our women to define their own success.

We do this through:

·      Connecting

·      Learning

·      Sharing

·      Leading

What will IWIB achieve over the next three years with your support?

1.     3000 happy members with increased access to resources for personal and professional development

2.     24 major events across the country creating opportunity for IWIB members

3.     8 regional coordinators to facilitate local programs and activities

4.     4 member projects that have a focus on community development sponsored

5.     4 full-time staff

6.     3 MURRA scholarships awarded to build business skills

7.     1 short film highlighting the strength and capability of our women in Australia

8.     1 National community of strong Indigenous women defining their own success, together!

As of February 2016 IWIB was officially registered as a Charity with DGR status with the Australian Charities and Not-For-Profits Commission under the following charitable purposes:

·      Advancing education

·      Advancing social or public welfare

·      Advancing culture

·      Promoting reconciliation, mutual respect and tolerance between groups of individuals that are in Australia

·      Public benevolent institution.
